Itunes question
My son got some Itunes gift cards for Christmas, and we are finally getting around to downloading some songs for him. He wants to load them on his PSP.
Does an Itunes download work fine on players other than IPODs, or do you have convert them somehow? I'd appreciate any help I can get there.

Re: Itunes question
Having absolutely no luck in getting the music transferred. The online help doesn't say squat about anything other than iphones, ipods, etc. I can export the library in the form of a text file, but that doesn't do me a whole lot of good.
Do I have to authorize the PSP as another computer? Or would that entail downloading the itunes player? Kind of annoying.

If they are not you need to find the file that holds your music. You can't move them from the itunes software to the PSP. You will be dragging and dropping from folder to folder. Most of the help I could find on Google dealt with the old style where most songs in itunes were DRM protected, most of them are not anymore. You need to look for some help post 2009 I believe. There may be a PSP type forum that can help even more.

You CAN move them from the iTunes software to the PSP. Highlight, copy, past to SD card or USB flash drive. Seriously, my 7 year old daughter can do it.

My computer will not let me drag and drop from the itunes software to a memory card and I have most of my music DRM free. I have to go to the folder that holds my music files and drag and drop from there.

Re: Itunes question
That worked! I just "open to view files" after I connect his PSP, then opened the music folder, opened Itunes and select all, copy, and then pasted into that folder. Thanks!
