    MLB 11: The Show

Anyone else have it yet? The new analog controls are definitely different, but it's pretty cool.

    Re: MLB 11: The Show

I picked it up this morning, the batting analog feature is a lot like when 2k started doing it in 09 (which makes the batting a hell of a lot harder then last year, which was tough already) but so far the pitching is pretty sweet. I've always felt that in certain games for instance, pitching in baseball or kicking field goals in football games - there's a lack of difficulty, making it monotonous and too easy. At least someones making an attempt at changing that...

But I personally wont start a franchise until the community rosters at OperationSports.com (which includes all the minor league players names) are completed.

I'll be getting it once the Big 12 Tournament is done. I'll be busy for the next handful of days here in KC!

How does the game look compared to past MLB The Show's? Stadiums, crowd, players, etc/

Do you have to use the new controls or can you switch to the old controls?

Don't have it, but I believe there is an option to switch back to the old controls or only use the new controls for pitching, batting...

You can use the old controls (buttons) if you want. I actually kind of like the analog stick for batting and pitching, makes it seem more interactive.

I am new to the PS3. Do you know when the community rosters will be released? And how do you download them?

    Thanks!

They usually get them out before opening day - I think this year the game creators made it a lot easier though (where multiple people can edit the same roster and combine them with a master roster) - as to how you can get it, you can use a usb drive to transfer the file (they explain how to transfer it on the website)

You can download them directly to the PS3, correct? I've never done this before either.

    Re: MLB 11: The Show

Not as good as last year's commercial, but still does the job...

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
