Friday Beer Thread

Haven't had this for awhile, what's in the glass/bottle/can for everyone tonight?

For me:

Alimony IPA
Horizon Red

And then some home brew High Crotch Ale

Prost!!!

It will be at least a week before I can have my home brew: Punch in the Face Double IPA.

So tonight it will probably be a Black and Tan or a Black and Blue.

Harriet Brewing Divine Occulust Belgian Strong Ale.

Can only get it in a growler... but it is sooooooooo good. If you come up to MPLS, hunt them down. Awesome new brewery just southeast of downtown.

I'll be sticking to mixed drinks this weekend...so i guess mine has nothing to do with this thread.

Just found out the Old Man will be dropping off some Hoppy Boy and Red's Rye IPA...cue the Rebecca Black

The usual Captain and Coke for me (I'm not much of a beer guy.) Someone this week suggested trying it with Vanilla Coke.

picked up the following today for a trip next week and will dip into them for some of it this weekend (the rest goes to dvmted if you're reading this):

3floyds, robert the bruce
3floyds, alpha king
3floyds, pride & joy
goose island, matilda
southern star, buried hatchet stout (cans) - if you see this be sure to pick it up, it's amazing
dogfish head, aprihop

So I've been out in the NW corner of the country for nearly two weeks and one thing has really surprised me.

NOBODY sells Miller Lite out here. It is weird. You can find it in stores, but not in restaurants, bars, etc.

Homemade limoncello shots, beer will be bud light probably

I cant find Alpha King anywhere any more. I really miss that beer, Cyclone used to always have that in stock.
