Wow. So should I be really impressed with this kid, or just less impressed with UConn's QB?

Also, that kid is BA. The good news is a lot of kids in Iowa grow up Hawk fans until they are ready to go to school. Ferentz will be dead, retired or in the NFL by the time he's ready to be recruited.

you think Ferentz will be dead or retired in the next five years? NFL maybe, but I doubt it. Why leave the cushy gig he's got going now. Also, that video really proves nothing on whether the kid will make a good QB or not. I'd like to see him make those throws while being chased by a couple of 250lb lineman.

Sweet...he can throw a knuckleball with a middle school sized football into a Hawkeye laundry basket from 30 yards away on his 17th try. I want someone to make one of these without editing. God knows how many tries it takes some of these guys just to get one right. Not real impressed. Give a monkey a football and a camera and I'm sure eventually he could come up with some of this stuff.

Pretty much anybody that can throw a ball can make a lot of shots if they have enough tries. Video editing is really not that difficult these days.

Frankly it doesn't matter how well the kid can throw. If he doesn't hit 6 feet tall he most likely won't be recruited by a D1 school unless he develops unreal speed and is a legit threat with his feet. There are many people who have great skills but don't make the cut because they don't have the "measureables" of height, weight, 40 time, bench, etc. This even happens in high school.
