Were your kids planned?
Almost had a surprise, just wondering if you had any?

Yes. Basically whenever my wife said she wanted one, I looked at her and she got pregnant

TWSS. Same here. Our first kid was born 9 months after our wedding.
We were wanting to have kids sometime in the near future but weren't really trying to have any yet. Apparently drunk honeymoon sex is great at getting your wife knocked up.
Second one was full blown psychotic episode by my wife using calendars, body temperatures, etc. That really took the fun out of getting some.

Re: Were your kids planned?
Sort of. We decided we were going to try for one, and as it turned out by then she was already about two weeks pregnant.

No he most certainly was not, but it all worked out for the best.

2 for 2 in the surprise category and both girls also. 3/3 if you count a miscarriage. I was a surprise myself (4th kid in 5 1/2 years, yes we're catholic)
My wife found out after our second child 19 months ago that she ovulates twice a cycle so I'm actually surprised I don't have more. We've done some family planning stuff that his been effective so far.
Its all good though. I know enough people who struggle to get pregnant and I'd rather have a few surprises than none at all.

Re: Were your kids planned?
I have the ultimate control over the timing of my children, due to the fact that they currently reside in test tubes.

Re: Were your kids planned?
First one was planned, although we were surprised by how quickly it happened. Basically the same month my wife stopped taking the pill was the same month my wife got pregnant. Did not expect it to happen that fast.
The next one will be planned as well - as long as there aren't any "surprises" between now and September...
