    Camera People- Quick Question

I am looking to get a Canon EOS Rebel t2i camera soon. Gonna be doing some fun stuff with it. But its gonna be between $700-$800. Are there any cameras that are very similar but cheaper?

What kind of fun stuff do you want to do with it? Does it matter if it can take video as well?

    Re: Camera People- Quick Question

If you are just looking for a digital SLR then there are several previous models in the Canon Rebel line that are cheaper and will likely give you similar results (after all the bulk of results will come from the lens you use). But, as Chris above mentioned, do you need to have HD video on the camera as well?

Yeah I need the 1080 video option as well.

You could try looking for a used or refurbished camera. But the T2i would be a great pick if you need video as well.
