    interesting reading one of the comments under the story - the part about him understanding the total picture and the he will sell in the market. made me think of tirrell's commentary about deace.

    Tirrell's tirade on Deace was proven to be a complete lie. WHO's program director was quoted in the DM Register saying he tried several times to talk Deace out of leaving. Deace's ratings were the highest WHO ever had in that time slot. I'm hoping the new guy they just hired to partner with Ken Miller on KXNO is good so I do not ever feel the need again to go listen to Tirrell.

    How is that "proving" that Marty lied? Marty never said people didn't listen to Deace. He said that Deace was a hard sell to advertisers. Big difference.

    Marty said Deace's contract was not renewed (and/or he was basically shown the door). Several sources (including WHO) have confirmed that this was not true.

    In other words - Marty lied...again.

    Any Steve Deace sightings recently? I just Googled and found this site, but hasn't been updated since Feb 24.
