Royals leading AL Central!!!!!!
I know we are only 5 games into the season and the Royals haven't played on the road yet, but this might be the one time this season to celebrate the Royals!!!! -

It will be. The impact players on that team are still all wearing diapers in baseball terms at this point. The owners in KC are just not committed to keeping their good players. I was a huge Royals fan when I was young, but the franchise needs to be sold. It is a pathetic sight to behold.

I don't really follow baseball, but doesn't this happen at the start of the season every single year?
If the Royals weren't so worthless, I might actually care about pro baseball...

It is a pathetic sight to behold. only people that have 0 idea about recent Royals dealings have this opinion. The Royals signed Greinke, Soria, Dejesus and Butler long term. They dealt Greinke who is a career 60-66 with an e.r.a. over 4, for four high level talent guys. The dealt Dejesus for a two high level prospects. This is what the Twins and A's do every year. They have the number 1 rated minor league system in all of baseball and it isn't even close. The Royals ownership is as committed to winning now as they ever have been and are doing a much better job. There are just so many fans that don't know anything that talk jibberish and end up looking like idiots.
Are the Royals going to win the central, no. But will they be competitive? Yes. And the cavalry is coming, and when it does watch out.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come. -
Re: Royals leading AL Central!!!!!!
I guess its now just a question of how many world championships will they win in a row?

I love the Royals talent that they have coming up. If they are in first place after their trip to Minneapolis I will be very surprised.

Unfortunately, that could be said for several of the last few seasons. David Glass will make sure they cash them out when they become marketable.

810 Radio said yesterday that the last time they were 1 game over .500 was May of 2009.

If the Royals weren't so worthless, I might actually care about pro baseball... This is how you know it's still April - Royals fans are still talking about how they're "in first place." Every single year, by the time June rolls around... Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -
Re: Royals leading AL Central!!!!!!
We will enjoy it while we can. All 4 wins in last at bat also, little bit of baseball luck there. Relief pitching good, starting pitching not as much.

Royals are 4-1, Red Sox are 0-4 . Saw a tweet this morning that if an East Coast team had there first 5 games the way the Royals have had, ESPN & HBO documentaries would be in the works.
