Tim, in of himself, is not awful. Tim and Chris yesterday were really the best morning radio since the end of Miller/Deace.

That's not saying much, considering how bad morning radio has been since Miller and Deace left.

If either of them need to go, it's Tim. Sorry, but he just doesn't have the talent for radio. It sounds like he has to think too much, and too slowly, while talking on his own. Travis is the one keeping that show afloat....for now.

I think Tim and Chuck are an improvement over Travis and Tim...at least they are having worthwhile conversation this morning. Travis and Tim are boring and its obvious Travis tries to stir the pot but its usually the same argument that I've heard on 5 other radio shows.

I gave Travis and Tim a shot for awhile thinking it would just take time for them to gel. They haven't. Now I'm 95% on Mike and Mike.

I have always enjoyed Chuck Reed. Travis can be entertaining at times. I agree that Tim is not worth listening to most of the time.

The Cot Man's interviews always sound like a snivelling 10 year old wanting someone to agree with him and I think Chuck Reed is much the same.

I think that's a hurdle they jump every morning. I usually last about 45 seconds before waivng the white flag.

I agree re worst radio ever comment. I turned it on and when they were talking about the eiu schedules for '13 & '14...I turned it over to espn on 1700.....

Just for the record...Chuck Reed is a grad of Drake University...I find it amusing that


they cant ever find an ISU grad to work one of these local shows...tells ya where ISU stands with the media in central ia.

I have an anti Chuck Reed bias so that comes into play. I honestly can't stand him but I can't put my finger on it.
