I grew up with Ashley. We went to elementary and junior high together. I hope whoever did this gets caught.
I think is probably the work of some sicko who pre-meditated it.
There's no suspects and none of the news sources are reporting a suspect profile. You'd have to think someone saw something.
Completely incomprehensible...she was incredibly nice and genuine. Thoughts and prayers with her family and friends. Her long time boyfriend is an awesome person as well, can't imagine what her family and he are going through.
A similar thing happened south of Madison a year or two ago. Crazy guy made an appointment...

In response to the guys talking about the cancelling of the open houses. I work for RE/MAX and we were told to cancel our open houses also, so it wasn't just Iowa Realty.
As a fellow realtor I am in complete shock and have felt sick to my stomach all night. I have worked with Ashley on a couple deals and am at a total lost for words. I hope they catch the bastard and string him up.
Thoughts and prayers for the family and friends. I heard about this tonight from a friend who knew her. Terrible news.
Wow... I can't believe this. I had some classes with her at Iowa State and she lived right down the street from me on Stanton.... We'd walk to class together sometimes because we were both headed the same direction...
I hope they catch the bastard who did this!
