Portable Basketball Hoops

Didn't know if anyone had any suggestions for a portable basketball hoop for a 12 year old.

The reason we are looking for a portable one is that we are currently renting the house we are at now and will be taking it with us when we get a house of our own in a year or so.

With that being said, we are looking at the following one:

Plan on anchoring it into the ground some how with metal posts to keep the winds from knocking it over on to our cars.

Anyone have any good suggestions, or know someone that is looking to get rid of theirs? Have checked out Craigs list with no avail.

I bought a similar one 8 years ago from Sports Authority. They occasionally run a 50% off sale. I got one for $150.

A quick look at the SA website makes me think the HD one is a good deal though...

You can fill the base with water for the summer/fall to keep it from blowing over. In the winter, just drain it and store it on the side of the house.

Personally, I filled my base with sand and it hasn't moved since.
