    Need a house/townhouse to rent in Ankeny

    I accepted a job with ISU and start in a few weeks. I'm curious if anyone knows of a moderately priced ($1000-1300) 3-4 BR house/townhouse to rent in Ankeny while my wife looks for a job in Ames/Ankeny/Des Moines. I've checked the ads on Craigslist and contacted the few listings that fit the profile. Not much luck so far.

    I'm definitely excited about moving back to Cyclone Country!

    I don't know anything about rentals but I know of a good reasonably priced townhome in SW Ankeny if you want to buy.

    Drive around neighbor hoods...that's how we found a townhouse to rent.

    The 3 story triton homes are tough to sell right now, so I bet a lot of owners would gladly rent.

    i may have one for rent.. 3 bedroom, huge bathroom... washer dryer upstairs... about 1400 sq ft... under $1300. that same town home would probably be up for sale as well.. very low priced...owner doesnt want anymore as they have another home they have already bought out of town...     3 months ago I had one for you. Had it rented within the day I had it on craigslist. Rentals are a hot commodity in Ankeny right now.
    Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

    Got to be several for rent right off 2nd Ave south of Oralaber. That area is way overbuilt
