I have comcast xfinity with the x1 service... First time I've felt like I'm getting my money's worth since I got cable. That being said, the ideal situation would be to share your internet access to channels (hbogo, most cable channels such as amc, fx, nbc, abc, etc, showtime series/movies, cinemax, & almost all espn (with watch espn) with someone else willing to pay 1/3-1/2 of your bill every month. I only say 1/3 as the main person would actually have access to the tv. I travel to NYC every month, and I can watch whatever I want on my laptop or ipad. (caught up on homeland this past trip). Pretty sure airplay doesn't work with the xfinity apps, but display mirroring works great if you use your laptop or a desktop mac in the house.
