    Thumbs up Topped Donuts - Maple Bacon Bars

    If anyone in central Iowa is looking for a great donut try Topped Donuts in Ankeny.

    I fell in love with the Maple Bacon Bars. They also have a bunch of other great "Premium" and "Gourmet" flavors.

    Get there early. Everytime I've been there they were almost sold out. That being said the ones that were left were outstanding and I can't wait to go back.

    I think these were first made in Portland, Oregon at Voodoo Doughnuts. Hope they taste just as good. May sound bad initially, but they are dangerously awesome.
