Has anybody watched an episode yet? It is a new show on Comedy Central and it started a few weeks ago. I have seen 2 episodes so far and I think it is pretty darn funny. Having said that, I don't expect this show to be very successful because a lot of people don't like or understand Norm's humor.
Your guys' thoughts?

New episodes air on Tuesday nights at 9:30pm, I'm not sure when Comedy Central re-airs the episodes though... You could probably catch the new episode that aired earlier tonight a little bit later tonight.Quote:

Let me first say I love Norms comedy and his appearances on talk shows. Now, I also think that show is terrible. I watched it once, hated it but I gave it another shot and it was still bad.
I have a feeling it's the type of show that will have to grow on people and that will take time... the question is, will comedy central give it enough time? But like I said earlier, I didn't expect this show to do well, and it probably won't do well enough to hang around long, but I'll enjoy it in the mean time!Quote:

Never saw Sports Dome or the show you're referring to. The only reason I decided to check out a sports show by CC was because I saw Norm was the host. Norm was arguably the best comedian to do "Weekend Update" on SNL and I think they are trying to hone in on those skills of Norm. The only problem is CC already has the Daily Show and Colbert Report so that is why I think Norm is using his "Weekend Update" skills and applying it to a sports related show because CC already has enough political based shows.Quote:

I love Norm but I haven't seen the show yet, I keep meaning to watch it but keep forgetting. His OJ Simpson joke at the end of his ESPY's opening monolouge is possibly the funniest award show moment ever. His roast of Bob Saget is also hilarious. I love his sense of humor.

CC carries the Onion's "SportsDome". Don't know if it's still on TV though. Only watched one episode and it was okay, I guess. Haven't seen Norm's new show.
