How do you "ease" a body into the ocean from an aircraft carrier? Do they lower a boat? Winch it down? I'm curious.

That was a burial at sea from the USS Iwo Jima. 5:00 mark is when they commit the body.

The "Muslim Scholars" that are all up-in-arms about it not being a traditional Muslim burial are ridiculous. The fact that they made any attempt to dispose of his body in any respectful manner is really more than they needed to do. It baffles me they can be upset that he wasn't buried facing Mecca and any other Shari'a mandates. I'm sure the terrorists gave Daniel Pearl and the countless others of various religions who Al Queda has killed a proper burial. Ridiculous.

So I don't know how they did it or if any other newspapers did but the Omaha World Herald released a picture of it yesterday. It was a shot from the neck up and you could tell he had been shot in the side of the head.

Like I said, I don't know how but they ran it.

New photo. I'm guessing fake since its the wrong eye. Also doubt they would release a photo showing some of the soldier's face.

Sounds like the same old photo that's been around for awhile. Dept of Defense has stated they are old doctored photos not real.
