Survivor Philip
Really starting to wonder if it's all an act.

Re: Survivor Philip
I think he will make it to the end. I think it's an act and he's playing everyone. He's much more intelligent than he looks IMO.
-
Re: Survivor Philip
I'm starting to agree. He at least thinks it's an act, which makes it interesting.
Act or not, is it even possible for any argument that he thinks he has to work against Rob?

Re: Survivor Philip
I think Phillip will win the deal. Even though Rob has controlled the whole game, Phillip has maybe played one of the more unique games in Survivor history. It's a bold strategy and it's working out for him.

But I like that kid. I just can't stand Phillip.

Re: Survivor Philip
Like they all think I agree that if he makes it to the end he'll lose, regardless of how well he argues his case I doubt he'd get any votes just because he annoyed the hell outta so many people.

I legitimately thought he was crazy at the beginning of the game and didn't really like him. Rob is a genius for keeping him around, but if he knows whats good for him, he needs to get rid of Phillip now. Now, I'm almost cheering for Phillip because I've never been a huge fan or Rob.
I think that if they would have voted off Phillip at the beginning of the game, that group of 6 would not have been so successful. The rest of the 6 have been so ****** at Phillip the whole time, they haven't thought about scheming against Rob.

Rob is smart and probably knows this, at this point with only 5 left it's too late to take him out, Phillip wants Rob there, Rob wants Phillip, all Rob has to do is pick his third for final 3, and hope whoever returns from redemption doesn't win their way to the final.

Re: Survivor Philip
At this point, I think the threats to Rob are: Matt, Andrea, and Phillip. I think he beats Grant in the finals because Grant hasn't done the strategy and Rob has beaten him in quite a few challenges. The other two girls haven't done anything and wouldn't win in the finals. Rob's best bet might be to send Grant to Redemption next to beat Matt or Andrea. It would be hard to beat Matt in the finals after he came through Redemption pretty much the whole game.

read this post quickly - it might not last long -

Matt's the challenge monster out there, although a lot of that was against the weaker players.
At the same time, Matt's social game is non-existent, and that makes it tough to get jury votes.

Re: Survivor Philip
I really hope that Rob wins. Its not that I particularly like him, but his game play has been flawless. If he makes it to the end and doesn't win something is seriously wrong. The guy has had a huge target on his back from day one and has played one of the best strategical and social games i can remember on survivor. The fact that everyone knows how good he is and he has STILL made it this far tells me that Rob deserves to win it all. With his performance, if he makes it to the finals and loses, it will be a complete joke.

Re: Survivor Philip
I'm a big fan of Robs because he is so good at Survivor but I really hope this is the last time CBS brings him back. Enough is enough.

I would be surprised if he gets any votes at all, shocked if he got more than 1. He's playing the Russell Hantz strategy. Look how it worked for Russell. Did Russell even get a vote the 2nd time? Playing the "make everyone hate me, so they take me to the end" strategy is great for 2nd (now 3rd since they seem to always have 3 in the finals), but it never wins. Ever.
