Re: Nashville, TN
Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry, but those should be obvious. I'm trying to remember where we went when my high school music department went there my senior year, but that seems so long ago now...

Ryman is great is the Opry is there on night it is a must. Also Tootsies and 2nd Fiddle are my 2 favioite bars. Best restraunt was the stockyards steak house. It is a white table cloth place but no jacket required. I love the atmoshpere. It is the old stock yards office building and the tables are all in a different cattle buyers office.

Our favorite restaurant in Nashville is Monell's. When the women's basketball team played in the Vanderbilt tournament in 2007, Monell's stayed open for the team to have Thanksgiving Dinner. It was simply AMAZING! Patrons eat at large tables with other customers and dine family style. It's great for getting to meet new people and have great conversations.
I loved that when we went back there a couple of days later for breakfast, two ladies from Nashville didn't ask us what we had seen, they asked us where we had eaten. The city loves it's food.
