Bon Jovi in DM
Can't wait for tonight. I know that this matters little to some as Bon Jovi has been to DM before, but this will be my first time seeing them in concert, so I went all out and got a floor seat ticket. Song I'm most looking forward to is dead or alive.

Wow, Jon Bon is coming to Des Moines. While he's here, make sure you don't hop into any limos while your trippen your balls off. You might get stabbed by some chick with pink hair.

My 12-year old has the same taste in music I do, namely classic rock. When his mom and I told him we were going to this concert, we were worried because JBJ used to be his favorite. But he said, "I don't like Bon Jovi any more because they are country now."
I cried a little. So proud.

That is intriguing as well. Huge Journey fan and didn't go when they came to Ames back in the day because I learned that Perry doesn't tour with them anymore. But considering the replacement sounds exactly like him I can live with out SP.

I loved Bon Jovi pre-1994 (only reason I go that far into the 90s is to include Blaze of Glory. And I know it was a solo project).
After that I can hardly stand Bon Jovi.

Re: Bon Jovi in DM
I’m guessing Bon Jovi is the first act to play Wells Fargo three times. They must love DM. Side note: I do remember Jon Bon Jovi stating way back when that he hoped Dead or Alive would become a classic rock song like (and I forget which song he compared it to but I think it was either Stairway to Heaven or Hotel California). Ahhhhhh….no. Not a bad song, but not anywhere in the same league IMO. Regardless enjoy the show, head down to Court Ave and party afterwards, and then call in sick to work tomorrow! -

After that I can hardly stand Bon Jovi. If you locked me in an elevator with nothing but Bon Jovi music - post 90's - I would tell you all of my internet passwords.
I get violently angry just hearing a Bon Jovi song. Syrupy crap.

1st time I saw Bon Jovi, they opened for 38 Special in mid-80's. Great band. Hopefully the ladies wearing leather back then, won't be tonight!

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.
