Miller and Brinson
I have always enjoyed Miller's takes on most subjects. He is interesting and is also fair in covering Iowa State and Iowa. So far, the new guy in town, Brinson seems to be a good compliment to Miller. However, at times he does get on my nerves. I am not sure what it is yet, but sometimes he is awkward and goofy and it almost makes me tune out. For example, yelping or singing every segment. Should be interesting to see if that is his style or if he is only doing it because he isn't familar with his co-host yet.
What are your thoughts on him?

What are your thoughts on him? Keith Murphy's Brinson imitation is hysterical.

Re: Miller and Brinson
Brinson sounds very fake, IMO. Not saying he's a bad guy, but it sounds like he tries too hard.

Re: Miller and Brinson
Hate the sound of his voice...can't listen.
Murph & Andy and then back to music for me.

Re: Miller and Brinson
They're better than "T&T" in the morning - I can only stomach those guys for about 30 seconds before I have to turn the channel.

Re: Miller and Brinson
I really enjoy the change. I think Brinson really keeps the show more positive, Ken seems to be depressed some days and it can bring the show down.

What are your thoughts on him? Sorry but I have the complete opposite view. Miller is awful. Brutal to listen to. Reminds me of Droopy. I'm so happy. Hurray.

Re: Miller and Brinson
Brinson has a voice for radio, no doubt.
Haven't heard a lot, but so far so good IMO. Still check out Marty on occassion and stick with who has most interesting topic.
Actually, regarding T & T -- either they are growing on me or they've gotten better over time. Not great, definately not Deace/Miller, but a huge improvement over Cotlar.

Re: Miller and Brinson
I'll wait to judge until football season. His ability to talk Hawks/Clones will decide if he's going to be able to stick. Well, that and how he handles big negative stories. His predecessor took every negative story and tried to make it a program killer.

Re: Miller and Brinson
KXNO is dead to me. It probably has more to do with the time of the year. I'm sure once football season gets near I'll start to listen again.

Re: Miller and Brinson
At this point I am not judging them. There is just something about him that feels forced or awkward that sometimes makes me want to switch the channel. I do think that without giggles that Miller will be better/ not so depressing.

Re: Miller and Brinson
Brinson is hard to listen to when he's trying to be funny or he's not on a sports-related topic. You're right, he's a little awkward/goofy and it does sound like he's trying too hard sometimes. However, when he gets down to talking sports I've found that I actually really enjoy him (he loses a little of that cheesy radio voice when he get serious about a topic).

Re: Miller and Brinson
Brinson reminds me of your somewhat creepy older uncle. He needs to play it more straight in my opinion.
I actually really enjoyed the show when it was just Miller. I was actually hoping the show would just be him.

They have gotten better. Tim's voice isn't quite so annoying any more. I don't really care for Brinson that much, though. He sounds stilted and old. Miller I like...he's fair and has good opinions. I do switch over to Marty once in awhile. I like when he's on with McDermott, but I can't stand Trent Condon's whiny little voice (and his hok leanings).
