Re: The Rapture
The weirdest part about this is that even believing won't save you. Who believes knowing they won't get saved? Oh and to be "Raptured" in this case is a good thing. The 3% that experience it will be saved while the rest of us are stuck here, atleast until October when the world actually ends.
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan. -

Actually, you can probably go ahead and say religion itself is a dangerous thing. Although, the exception is that Christianity has done a lot of good in this country for a couple hundred years.
"Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion man" -

I'm not expert, but Rapture isn't the end of the world. Rapture is when ****** comes down and takes people to heaven. I believe they think the end of the world actually occurs a few months from now.

After that, the world will officially end.

Re: The Rapture
One time I was quite drunk on a flight to Dalls and sat next to an old, crazy guy that told me how the world was going to end in great detail. Lots of fire, people being raptured, etc. Different categories: The Living Good, the Living Wicked, the Dead Good, the Dead Wicked... it really didn't seem like it would end up good for anyone though. Just fire and pain and torture for the most part.
He gave me a DVD even. According to the DVD, the world was going to end specifically because of gay marriage. It sure seemed like an overreaction to me.

Latest Earthquakes in the World - Past 7 days
Here's the deal. Crackpot says this will start at the international date line at 6pm their time, which equates to 11pm in Iowa. If still awake and not drunk off you ***, check the above site and focus on the area in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. If you see some small yellow boxes, those indicate quakes that are older than a day but within a week old, no big deal. If you start seeing large red boxes, that indicates large magnitude quakes which happened within the hour. In that case you may want to start deficating yourself.

In that case I may have to go pickup some diapers just in the off chance this thing pans out and the crazy people aren't really crazy after all. I would hate to not be prepared. -
