The garbage frank at Hickory Park is pretty awesome. It's a half pound all beef dog with grilled onions and green peppers, mushrooms, kraut, cheese, bacon and ham.

There is a place where I live called Marco's Hot Dogs. They have bacon wrapped hot dogs covered with baked beans, onions, tomatoes, cheese, ketchup, mustard and mayo (its a homemade mayo, same type of consistency as the ketchup so its not too strong). Heaven. They are amazing and are only $3.

Oh yeah, he has jalapeños and salsa that you can also throw on top. Also a must.

Agreed. That's what my daughter had on her first trip there.

i prefer to not know what my hot dog is made from and grilled with ketchup and onions, sometimes i add some dill pickles and spicy mustard.

I always loved the Reuben dogs from Orange Julius- hot dog, sauerkraut, mustard, with cheese on top.

Same way I like my burgers and tenderloins:

Lots of ketchup, a little mustard, generous helpings of onions and sliced dill pickles.

Don't like sweet relish on a sandwich:skeptical:.

I much prefer the dog grilled or split-and-fried - versus steamed or boiled

I like taking Cheddarwurst and wrapping them in extra large Crescent Rolls, bake in oven for 20 minutes. 6 Cheddarwurst in a pack, 6 Crescent Rolls, nice snack.....lol

Anybody on the board from Eastern Iowa had a Mulgrew's Footlong Chilli Dog?

I'm pretty sure sober I wouldn't even be able to eat one, but after a night out they are the greatest thing ever.
