I'm about 98% sure there's been a thread about this on here before, but I can't find it. Curious who others have used.
We had a flyer on our door the other day for a full vent cleaning for 69.99 and dryer vent for 49.99 for Central States Air Care to do it.
I know we need it done, I just don't know anything about them or other companies that do it.
Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.
We had it done a while back. Be aware (we were) that most of those low dollar deals only cover part of the cleaning. You can elect to clean half your system, but why would you? I think ours ended up in the $300 range.

You're right....I kept what I thought was a low ball newspaper offer from a Des Moines company....knew they couldn't travel and do the the complete job for ad quote of $49.99 and showed the ad to the local company I hired. Most all of the low price ads for this service are com-on ads to get their foot in your door, you will be charged by the number of register outlets. Mine was aound $250 plus tax for what I saw as a good job done in about 3 hours.. The owner and his helper did the job and explained each part of the service performed. Didn't offer any service of disinfecting my furnace runs as some companies will try and sell you, a not needed service.
