Best movie

I looked in the archives before starting this, and didn't find anything. If the same thread exists elsewhere, please merge.

I was thinking today about the topic, and there are quite a few I can think of, for many different reasons. What I wonder is, regardless of genre, what is everyones thought on best movie?

Me? I honestly think "Seven" is, from opening scene to the end, one of the greatest movies ever made.

Thoughts?

When I think of movies with a great plot and ending, The Prestige and Rounders come to mind. Of course there are a ton that fit into that category for me, but those two popped into my head first.

Picking one favorite movie is liking picking a favorite child..

Its tough for me to choose between the boondock saints, gladiator, fight club, inception, and that thing you do. the first 4 are probably loved by 95% of the men in our country, the last one of those movies I've liked so much as a kid and young adult that I have every line, and song, completely memorized.. Tom Hanks acts in it, and directed it.. can he do any wrong? Didn't think so..

Great movie.

A lot of mine have the same actors...Freeman (Seven, Shawshank), Spacey (Seven, Usual Suspects), Pitt (Seven, Fight Club, Snatch), so I can't tell if it's them or the movie itself.
