It's his round about way of telling us how unreasonable he is.

Or he's one of those ****** bags that think they're better than the Midwest and spend all of their time telling everyone within ear shot about how much Iowa sucks and how they can't wait to get out.

AKA "the life of the party".

I highly disagree with this. The Midwest has lots of great destinations, just depends what you are looking for.

Nope, I'm just a realist. The midwest is terrible. I'm in Ames because I was born in Iowa and I wasn't lucky enough to have parents that would pay for out of state tuition. Iowa is Iowa, which sucks ***.

Student loans. Find 'em. You are far from a realist. I'd say closer to humongous ****** bag.

I have to ask, in your know-it-all-college-student brain, what's so terrible about the Midwest?

I can't wait for you to leave.

You could try to reasonable and understand that different people have different tastes, and that Iowa isn't what you prefer, but to make a blanket statement like that is unbelievably arrogant and narrow minded.

I don't personally ever want to live in Chicago. Traffic sucks, and a lot of people there tend to be *** holes. It provides a lot of great amenities, and is a great place to visit, but the things I seek for daily living can't be met there. I like being within an easy drive of rural places. I LIKE open spaces, but I also like having the comforts of a city. Des Moines works for me because I can do both. It also happens to offer quite a few amenities for a small midwestern city, but I can totally understand why someone wouldn't like Des Moines. I don't think someone is unreasonable for wanting to live in small town, big city, or anywhere in between. Even with places I think completely suck (NYC, Nebraska) I can understand the appeal they have to the folks who seek them out.

Different strokes for different folks. But no. You're just an arrogant ***** who thinks everyone should believe what he does.

No, you're an idiot. And your hate towards Des Moines, the state, the midwest is stupid. And you're coming off that way.

Easy buddy. Don't lump all of us together. I'm 22 but am smart enough to realize the Midwest offers a lot of things no other part of the country can touch.

So let me get this straight. You were born in Iowa and still live in Iowa, yet you know how much better it would be to live somewhere else?

I'm not going to lie, I find your outlook to be hilariously childish, naive and for the lack of a better word, dumb. You can make a declaration such as that when you've actually lived a single minute in the real world (sorry, college is far from counting as real world experience).

I happen to be from Iowa, and have lived all over the world. Will give a significant part of my anatomy to find a job in my field or retire so I can live in Iowa.

Seriously. Get off your young, ignorant punk *** and get out. Quit milking your parents for college money and go to New York and starve for awhile.

I don't think I've met a more offensive jerk than you.

Which won't happen because mommy and daddy won't pay for it like the out of state tuition.

I wouldn't hate the midwest if the weather didn't suck and if the people weren't mindless vassals of ignorance
