I remember that stretch on 30 in campustown. When I first lived in Ames, in 1961, we lived at Lincoln Apts. There were semis cruising by all night, every night. On the plus side, we were right across the street from Clyde Williams Field, so I got an early start on my Cyclone indoctrination!!
