Where did he go after the WHO radio gig? He had a lot of talent. He also always defended ISU even though he was Michigan fan.
Where did his sidekick Jon Miller go? He had no talent and was annoying? Everything had an Iowa Hawkeye reference.

Deace was very realistic toward ISU. I always felt that he tried to control Jon in terms of the typical Hawkeye BS spewing toward ISU. I think they quit the show to pursue other opportunities. I don't really know where they ended up.
They tried some Internet hour long show through Marty and that lasted one show or so. I remember Marty being ****** off about how some things went down business wise and that was it. Last I knew Deace has had an internet site(dont know what its about though). No idea on Miller besides HN.
I think Marty sabotaged that internet show with Deace and Miller from the get-go, based on things I've heard. I don't think he wanted to be pushed aside by the Calling All Sports network when they would have realized that Miller and Deace were blowing him out of the water.
I get the feeling we'll see them both back on Mediacom this coming fall. Call it a hunch.
They were in violation of their 6 month no compete clause with Clear Channel, so this show was shut down after Marty worked hard to get them up and running. From what they said, it sounds like they plan to do it again after the 6 months are up around the end of August.
I deace but I have to say that I prefer his replacement. He's not as obsessed with religion.
Marty advertised the show in such a manner that caused them to be in violation of the non-compete. If he hadn't done so, they would have been fine. As much as Marty wants everyone to believe it, he is not the owner of Calling All Sports. He's the face of it but he doesn't own it and make all the decisions.
Not that I am defending Marty because I hate him more than any radio personality ever to be in the market but in his little rant that he threw Deace and Miller under the bus in he said they only had like 8 people streaming their show over the 2 days or so they were on. I didn't think Deace and Miller were that great to begin with, Deace can get on his political and religious high horse and Miller is about as much fun as watching paint dry since he only can talk about Hawks so I am not missing either of them right now.
Say what you want about Deace, but he is interesting and knows his college football. I would welcome his return to the airways.
Calling all sports had some issue that day streaming, and considering you had to log in to listen, virtually no one was able to. So yeah Marty was correct that nobody tuned in, but it wasn't because of Miller and Deace. Marty just failed to tell the whole story.
Also if Marty was this media giant, wouldn't his millions and millions of normal listeners still tune in to check out his new part time hosts?
Marty does his "show" from a card table at an auto dealership.
