Richard Childress Gives Kyle Busch a Whippin'

Not a big NASCAR guy, but from what I do know, it's about time Kyle Busch got it handed to him. And from a 65-year-old grandpa no less.

Report: Richard Childress and Kyle Busch in altercation - From the Marbles - NASCAR*Blog - Yahoo! Sports

Some reports say Childress got him in a headlock and pounded him. Reminds me of another classic confrontation between young buck and old man...

I'm with you guys. I only started to get into NASCAR about 4 years ago, but I immediately liked Busch because he drives the way I thought NASCAR drivers were supposed to... or at least the way they used to.

The problem with Kyle Busch is he drives like that yet whenever anyone else touches him he whines, cries and pouts about it.
He can definitely drive a car. It doesn't seem to matter where he starts, he'll just drive through the pack into the top 10 in about 20 -30 laps.

Kyle Busch is no Dale Sr.

You are correct, Kyle doesn't have a son still riding his coat-tails. I don't like Kyle either, just for the record.

Re: Richard Childress Gives Kyle Busch a Whippin'

Having the pleasure to meet Mr. Childress a couple years ago, I would say Kyle had to say something to really get under his skin. Childress would go way out of his way to help anybody, and maybe If the reports are true this will help Busch when he looks back. Great driver, terrible egotistical person.

I remember when the Nolan Ryan clip happened. To this day when I see him in commercials I think of that. He layed down the LAW.

I never understood the hatred for Dale Jr.

#1 I'm pretty sure he would give up anything to have his dad alive.

#2 Is being popular his fault? What has he done to make you ******? There are tons of drivers whose parents got them into the sport. My guess is about 95% of nascar drivers come from wealthy families.

#3 He hasn't won in a long time. Sorry he's not as good of driver as some of the other drivers. Is this a reason to hate him? There are a lot of other drivers that used to win all the time that have struggled recently.

Re: Richard Childress Gives Kyle Busch a Whippin'

The Junior hatred comes from if he were named anything else he wouldn't even be in NASCAR right now he's been so bad the last 3-4 years. Kyle Busch is a punk and not even the best driver in his family. The only comparison to SR. is in attitude, but Sr. won something other than a couple races so I can understand his arrogance. I have friends that have come across Kyle while working in Newton, it's not an act. He is a class A ***** in real life also.

    1: He certainly would.

    2: No, I don't have a problem with him being popular...see below

3: Actually, I don't hate Dale, Jr. or Sr. Jr. seems like a genuinely nice guy, and his racing style is much more to my preference than his father's was.

I don't HATE, but I am annoyed by Sr. fans that can't let any comment go without jumping in swinging. A lot of these fans will do the same thing when anyone DARES to suggest that with the number of different teams and crews he's been with, maybe JR. doesn't Cup level talent.

I am also annoyed by the fact that the sport seems to be tailored to keeping Jr. fans happy. Just last week or the week before, the president of the organization said that Nascar needed Dale to be successful. In light of that, I found the 'no yellow' call after the spin at the end of the race last week questionable. There was a spin, there were cars on the track, but let 'em go, Jr.'s in the lead. Maybe that wasn't the reason, but with the head honcho saying they need Jr. to be successful, I questioned it.

But this thread was about Kyle getting his butt kicked, I really don't want to turn it into Dale, but wanted to explain...I understand there are folks who hate Jr. because of privilege, I don't.

Ya at newton, my cousin in law was in the pits and kyle blew off everyone very smuggly, his girlfriend was following him around apologizing. Not to hate a good driver, just an *** of a person.
