    Paintless dent fix

    Just wanted to ask the question if anyone has had a good paintless dent repair place to recommend? I got a little hail damage from a hail storm a few weeks ago. I got a new Acadia with less than 7500 miles and don't like the thought of bondo and paint.... SUV has the special paint (carbon black) with metal flake in it and worry about correct match also... So, any good places around Ames or Des Moines would be appreciated. Also, if you had similar experience with having this done....Thanks

    I had Dent Eliminators out of Clive do quite a bit of stuff for me and they have not failed me yet. Priced very reasonably too. They are in Clive

    Yes - had over 30 little dings removed fromtruck hood a couple years ago and it still looks great. It was an excellent deal as I had shopped around back then.

    If your feeling gutsy, you can always let it sit outside on a hot July summer day until about 3 oclock and then rub icecubes on the dents. If they are small enough the temperature change pops the little dents right out. Only problem with this is it occasionally causes the paint to crack just a little bit. Did it on my car though and it worked like a charm.
