Yep, seems to be hanging on pretty well in value. I expect this to change a bit soon with all of the river troubles. Houses in more demand as of late do to flood displacement.

Somehow, $75,000 for the home pictured below doesn't seem like a bargain...

It just needs a little work and tender care. As a bonus, the alligator hunting is in the backyard.

affordable, means not in demand. Don't know if I would be jumping up and down about that. woohoo, we made a list with Detroit, Cleveland, and several Georgia cities....

Isn't "10 most affordable" code for "10 cities nobody wants to live in so you can get houses really cheap"? I know I've been really considering a move to College Park...

No, it's code for, "if you move here I will stab you for crank money!"

    I will stab you.

How come noone ever asks politely for crank money. "Good day sir, would you be so kind to give me a couple dollars for crank? Thank you sir and have a blessed afternoon." I would totally give that young man a couple bucks.

You could probably get away with that in an upscale town like Beverly Hills or Ankeny.

That won't play in Detroit or Cleveland or the Siouxer.
