Incredible video..tribe comes into contact with white man/outside world for 1st time

Kind of a long video but really interesting to watch

There are still out there. When filming the Human Planet, they discovered a new tribe.

Fred looks old in the video. Can't beleive we are recruiting this tribe. They look pretty raw as far as possible basketball players.

In all seriousness one of the great movies ever is "The Gods Must be Crazy". I highly recomend it for you younger people who have never seen it. It reminds me of this. It's about a tribe the finds a coke bottle that a guy throws out of a plane and they think it's something the Gods were giving them. So they find about 100 ways to use this coke bottle. Very good movie.

I know some people who did field work in Peruvian jungles. They told me there were places they couldn't go out of fear of running into uncontacted tribes. That was probably ~10 years ago.

Very funny movie

At about the 10 minute mark they try rice with what I'm assuming is salt...and then they give their tribal sign for, "DAMN that was good!"
