CycloneErik, I sure hope you save your 30,000 post for a wrestling thread. As Miz would say, that would be AWESOME!!!

He's the best heel in the buisiness. I'd like to see that whole summer sometime. I agree, though. Punk's all bad guy, and he's the very best at it. When they turned him loose with Jeff Hardy, that was great stuff.
Or his fan arguments in England, great stuff. Punk can youtube away an entire afternoon.

Second, Undertaker's "toiling" in obscurity is because, medically, physically, he's got 5 matches left in him, tops. He's old, broken, and ready to be done. 20-0 is the only reason he's not retired yet. Vince would put him on TV every hour of every show he has if he could. It's Taker who's limiting it. Cena's carrying the company all right. Right over the cliff.

"After speaking with sources I have learned the early plans as of now for next year's WrestleMania 28 card.
Obviously The Rock vs John Cena and the plan is to have the WWE title be on the line in that match.
The Undertaker vs Chris Jericho would also be on the card. A rematch between Triple H and The Undertaker is rumored to take place at this year's SummerSlam.
Triple H would go to WrestleMania next year going up against The Miz.
Alberto Del Rio vs Randy Orton.
Sin Cara vs Rey Mysterio.
And the celebrity involvement that the WWE is hoping for is Big Show in a match against retired NBA star Shaq.
These plans are all subject to change between now the start of 2012 based on injuries and other factors. As of now, this is the card that the WWE is looking to have for WrestleMania 28 in Miami."

I fully believe WWE needs Jericho back. Like him or hate him, he was a great performer. He was incredibly underrated. His articulation was great and could come up with some of the funniest ****. It looks like Sting will never be there so they are going to have find something.

agree. Another problem wcw had was having guys like jericho not getting a chance. Upon his arrival in WWE he was instantly a bigger star than he was in WCW. His promos with the Rock were awesome.

That company didn't go down for lack of creativity and story, it went down because it was managed very poorly on the business end. I will also say the lead up to Jericho coming into WWE was one of, if not the best storylines there has been. People knew who it was going to be, but they didn't know and after that he just rolled with it. One of my favorites even if I hated him 90% of the time.

This was his first appearance. The first line out of his mouth was instant success.

Re: Awesome ending to WWE RAW tonight
I think Chris Jericho debuted sometime around when RAW was up in Hilton. I thought he was an idiot then, but apparently he grew into a star.

Thinking to RAW the other night....I assume Cena will lose and get fired...AKA him taking some vaca....I do admit anytime Vince is back in the ring, its great for the brand.

Used to be great, but Vince had really aged and lost his gusto. A wrestling site I frequent has two guys that do a live show right after raw and podcast. They both agree though that as good as Punk's promo was a week ago the Vince / Cena promo was horrible. I'm glad that we won't be seeing Cena anytime soon after Money in the Bank. Time to push Alex Riley.
