I very much recommend people use the hell out of the Feedback feature in the bottom right corner. They take it seriously.

I got in too. Started a Cyclone Fanatic circle. Don't have capability for the web cam, looks like a purchase I need to make soon.

If you want to pm your details, I will add you to my CF circle, I think from there we can network? I shut off the search availability to find me. Just want to see how this thing goes before I open it up to everyone on the internet.

I'd say it's more twitter than facebook... there's no 'wall' concept, everything's in a news feed

I've played with it briefly today. My big question so far is what does it give me that I don't already have?

I like the integration with Picassa web albums

This is what it brings me. Integration with a ton of stuff I already use from google.

Whats everyone thats on this thinking so far?

Personally, the biggest thing i see a need for is hierarchical circles. For example, while i may want to have a circle for ISU friends, i may also want to have a circle for a group from ISU, but that group should always be included in anything i share to the overall 'isu friends' group.

Also hoping to see foursquare get integration with this like it has for FB and Twitter, so the checkin feature becomes more useful.

Sounds like a good idea. Did you submit it with their feedback button? Google seems to respond well to user input.

I'm enjoying it so far... It will be interesting to see how well it adapts when it becomes fully operational.

I'm not sure if you'll see Google do this, depends how far they want to take their competition with those services. The best option for this will likely come with programs like TweetDeck, etc. that will eventually integrate G+ into their sharing options.
