went up 1-0 early on an own goal by Brazil and we've played decent defense so far. marta is frustrated already and has resorted to playing dirty in under 30 minutes

Started to give up a few too many chances. I feel like we are just trying to hold on to this and we are going to struggle to do that. Need some counter-attacks to put some pressure on them.

AND......this is why soccer sucks!! A BS red card and a BS yellow on the no-goal turned goal. Refs have too much power to decide a game. US is getting robbed!
Horrible call by the official there. Makes one wonder if the officials hate the United States or something, when you couple that with what happened to the men last year in one of their games with being robbed by the officials.

The red card really wasn't too bad of a call. Sure the contact wasn't that much but it was to deny a goal scoring opportunity which is why it was called

Both Marta and Buehler were using their forearms to try and fend the other off. That wasn't a foul.
