    Spotify

    Anyone here going to try this music service? It has been huge in Europe and is now live in the US, as of today. It's supposed to be great.

    I signed up for an invite a while ago to try it out, but I'm not sure I'm going to splurge for the monthly service...I hope they have a free trial.

    Instead of playing songs it thinks you might like, you can play ANY song you like. There are a few holes in the catalog of songs, but not many.

    It's awesome. Use it while you can, because soon they will start limiting the free version.

    Spotify is freaking amazing! Been using it awhile because I cheated to get an account before it was out in the U.S. and you can use the same method for getting an account.


    • Go to proxy.org
    • Pick a UK proxy (marked GB)
    • Go to spotify.com
    • Make an account
    • Download the client

    Works like a charm!

    I've been messing with it a little but I don't see how it's better than Slacker Premium unless you somehow get the Spotify "premium" for free.
