DirecTV: Sports Pack, GamePlan, or both?
This will be my first college football season with DirecTV. I've always been happy with the sports pack I used to get from Dish and the DTV offering seems similar. I'm wondering if the sports pack is good enough or will I need to invest in the GamePlan as well? I haven't seen the 2011 GamePlan schedule yet so I don't know if there are any additional ISU games on GamePlan that I would not get otherwise.
I have always liked the sport pack because it seems I can always find some entertaining west coast games on after the family goes to bed on Saturday nights. Is there anything I'm missing on GamePlan that is worth the extra money?
Appreciate any thoughts.

Re: DirecTV: Sports Pack, GamePlan, or both?
Depends on your location. If an ISU game is picked up by ABC and not shown in your area, it could be part of the reverse mirror and will be on ESPN or ESPN2, but more than likely you'll need GamePlan or you can watch it on ESPN3.com (that is if your ISP offers it). If you are looking for GamePlan specifcally for Iowa St games, you can order GamePlan for single, stand alone weeks for like $22 or $23 per Saturday.
Games televised by FSN or FX won't be on GamePlan.

The only GamePlan appearance(s) for ISU would be an ABC game not being shown in your region.
The Sports Pack will get you all the FSN regional affiliates, so if your local one isn't showing the Big 12 game you can just flip over to a different one.

You want the Fox Sports Networks. Game Plan usually would be a waste of money for ISU games.
