Maui is my favorite. But for less money I'll settle for Orlando!

We have been there, but there is now a small ice cream shop within walking distance of our condo that my wife and kids patronize.

Re: Favorite Vacation Spot?
There are certain things about certain locations that just make me feel good. In the last few years a few come to mind.
Right after arriving in Las Vegas when you get out of the cab on the strip for the first time. Even though I've been there a lot there is nothing like LV.
Driving to summit county, CO from Iowa. You come out of the Eisenhower Tunnel and it's like a whole different world. Also the first time you get off the lift and see nothing but mountains.
Standing in the exact same location as Hitler overlooking the Eifel Tower. Walking along the Champs Elysees and thinking of the history.
Getting passed by a Ferrari test mule outside of Bologna, Italy.
Multiple sites in Rome. You've seen these places in pictures 100's of times so it feels cool to actually be in the same spot.
The first time you get of the plane or out of the car and hear someone speaking a different language or have a different accent.
Having my first beer of tailgating season. It's not a vacation but for the last 15 years or so it always feels good.
