Airlines that give price breaks for bereavement

Are there any airlines give discounts on immediate flights? My fiance's grandmother passed this morning and I need to get back to DSM. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know, and am only guessing, but since you and your fiance aren't married I'm not sure that you would qualify for that bereavement fare since her grandmother isn't technically "immediate family."

I think most of them do, but you are better off chasing down your own deal. It's a nice discount usually, but it's off of a full price ticket, so you can usually find better deals online. This was what happened to my wife a few years ago. My grandfather died and I drove back right away, she was flying in for the funeral, she ended up getting a much cheaper ticket through her works travel agency than the bereavement ticket would have been.
