    It's funny that you mention this because my mother just called and said that she took a couple of necklaces into some place in CR. She said they were all bent up and hadn't worn them in years. At this point I'm thinking "NO MOM DON'T!". She got $500 for 2 necklaces.

    I immediately started searching through some boxes that I thought would have some good jewelry. Both were 10K gold, which I assume isn't worth crap. My class ring is also 10K. Can I assume that 10K is worth 1/2 of 14K?
