Anyone on here work for Wells Fargo?
I have a phone interview with Wells Fargo and apparently they have a 3 step process for the interview. I am at the 2nd stage and have a phone interview next week for a personal banker position. Just wondering if anyone could give me a little insight into what questions they might ask.
Thanks!

Re: Anyone on here work for Wells Fargo?
I'm an executive recruiter and if you want to prep for an interview google the terms "targeted selection questions" or "behavior based interview questions".
Using these for prep will be good no mater what ype of questions the interviewer uses. Good luck.

I will research the behavioral based questions online. I m sure most of the questions will be dealing with customer service. How much experience is needed for this position?

I mean at Wells Fargo...I don't work here (there)...cause I wouldn't be here. I would be working VERY HARD if I worked for Wells Fargo.

Thanks! Is there anyway you can make that an "in person" interview? Granted, the 2nd phase usually is a phone interview for Wells Fargo, it might look better if you want to avail yourself for in person interview.

I wish I could have an in person interview, but the process is to have phone interviews for the first two rounds and then an in person interview with the branch in which you are applying to.

During interviews on the phone, I always think of something outside the box to ask so they kinda have to bring me for an in person interview. Remeber, any interview has the sole purpose of generating an idea about you as a candidate. If the idea is good to them, you will be honored with a job. Make yourself an asset from the very start. Think and act outside the box. You can do this. Good luck!!!

Re: Anyone on here work for Wells Fargo?
Would one of you damn Wells Fargo employees get your automated caller in check. I was a couple days late on a loan payment (total accident) and this damn machine is calling me 6-7 times a day for two straight weeks.
I hate your company.

Re: Anyone on here work for Wells Fargo?
The secret to behavioral interviewing is going into the interview with 5 - 7 great things you've accomplished in previous jobs, differences you've made. Then, no matter what they ask you can twist the answer around as you need to in order to get one of the 5 - 7 great things you've accomplished out for each question.
For example, a question may be, "tell me about a time you had a disagreement with a supervisor or employee" or "think of a good experience a customer had because you anticipated or met their needs" or "tell me about a time when you had to change your approach when dealing with others in order to get results".
Have some good examples in your head and you can talk and twist your way to a great interview.

I hate your company. As I say to my Grandmother, "that really stinks. Yeah, that's too bad. They should make some changes. Sorry about that Grandma. Yeah, I'll make sure I'll call somebody."

I hate your company. If you were only a couple days late, than why where they calling you for 2 straight weeks? I'm calling BS -

The number is 605-575-4444, feed that through middle management over there and maybe it will get to someone worth a damn within the next month or two. I just got my 5th call of the day.
