new to twitter

Could I get some help setting up my follow list? I'm interested in Cyclone athletics, College Basketball, astrophysics, national/international news, someone funny... what am I missing? Anyone have a list of "must follows"? Here's what I have so far and I'm looking for Ben Bruns.

The key is using lists to filter the people you follow. I'm currently at 500.

That will depend on how avid you'll be in following Twitter, if you only check once a week than it isn't too useful to follow more than a couple dozen. If you follow a couple times a day then you can follow 50-100 and probably not run into too much trouble. I find myself losing track of some w/ my personal twitter (following 280+) and I check quite often...

Bingo, get started on lists early or else it gets tough to go back and reorganize... I currently follow almost 1500 on my main account and still don't think it's too cluttered.
