This is starting to sound a little bit about the arguments a few weeks ago about penalties.
";If there is a block in the back away from the ball on the other side of the field...they shouldn't call it, it shouldn't be a penalty it didn't effect the play."
Ok, yeah, maybe in this case, nobody got hurt, but if you declare free reign for people to do what they want, you are, believe it or not, going to see escalation, and eventually somebody will get hurt.
Can't say, ok, it's a red light, but if you can beat the traffic, you can run it. Well, eventually somebody is going to think their super-awesome driving skills in their totally ******* car can make it, but they aren't going to beat the traffic.
You're just opening a can of worms if you say it's ok to run a red light sometimes, but not always.
Again, the cameras aren't the answer for making things "safer". Pure money grab. It you want safer you need
1. tougher requirements to get a license
2. removing distracted drivers
3. removing the clowns that think oh I can drive 20 mph above speed limit, weave in and out of lanes and cut people off because I'm a superior driver to everyone else and my poop doesn't stink.
If its harder to get a license, and you take the idiots and the distracted people off the road, things would improve dramatically.
