Yeah, that would be rough. No matter how secure you are on the outside, all it takes is one guy dying in his house one night of any number of natural causes to open up a new threat from the inside.

Watching the scene where Michione found the governor's daughter I thought for a minute that Michione was going down. Just because she had unhooked her & was off her guard.

After all the crazy/badass stuff Michione had been thru, would have kind of been funny if that was the way she went down.

That being said, I much preferred the sword coming thru the mouth. That was frickin awesome!

How's Daryl going to get out of this one?

I saw some smoke in the arena in the pre-view... I'm guessing they have to go back in there.

I have been obsessed with these types of scenarios since reading The Road. You'd need some martial training obviously as people would be desperate, and desperation breeds violence and drastic behavior. The Jail is perfect. You can lock yourself in a cell at night or at any time, and store a few days of food there. There would be a toilet and sink in every room. As long as you could keep the water going you are in great shape. The facility would have a ton of food service equipment and space. your secure from inside and out.

You'd want to specialize in something so you could trade for goods and weaponry. I would do beer. It is a great caloric source and pain reliever for a medieval type of environment. Also, moonshine would be a very useful product, and easy to make.

The Governor is obviously nuts, and a story needs a villain and he is a good one so I get it. What he is doing however makes little or no sense. You would want a lot of manual labor to raise food, and care for livestock along with defense purposes. Also, they should be out scavenging anything and everything they can get especially fabric or any raw materials.

Should have seen what the Governor and Michonne did to each other in the comic. Yikes, this was nothing compared to that.

So comic worth getting/reading?

I would find a mansion and dig 10 feet deep around the whole perimeter of the house. Those mofos would walk right in and fall down into it. Boom. That could keep me alive for awhile.

I think it would be easier to find plain old cement blocks. Make a 10 foot wall and you are good to go. Probably faster than digging too.

Yes, I think so. It will spoil some of the main happenings, but the show has been written just different enough that I can't wait for the next episode. Also if they stay semi true to the comics, I am very excited for what is to come.
