    I would say yes as well. If you are looking to get caught up in one big chunk, I'd recommend buying this...

    That will cover the first 48 issues of the comic which will take you through the prison/Governor story arcs. Going with the Compendium will be cheaper than buying the trade paperbacks individually. And if you find you enjoy the comic, Compendium 2 just came out a few weeks ago which covers issues 49-96.

    Finally got caught up last night. My guess is the Governor is going to offer Merle a shot at redemption by fighting Darryl to the death. Should be real interesting and intense.

    Also, just throwin this out there. I am really surprised that no one has used an axe as their primary weapon so far. Surprising. It seems like the perfect silent method of cleaving the head. Luckily Michonne knows what's up with her blade.

    I guess not enough survivors have been to the ren fair.
