Re: Cyclone apparrel in ames
I would guess the Cy's Locker Room on South Duff would be a good start, although I haven't checked it out in person yet.
T Galaxy on Welch has a much better selection of stuff (including some nice retro Cy apparel) now than they did 5 years ago.
I used to always hit the UBS in the Union, but I haven't had much luck there lately.
Is Dogtown on Hayward still around?

Re: Cyclone apparrel in ames
I've enjoyed going to Sigler's on Main lately. Haven't been into the Cy's on Duff or the Bookstore really.

Is Dogtown on Hayward still around? Dogtown is right across the street (Welch) from TGalaxy. Easy to get to both from one parking spot.

Re: Cyclone apparrel in ames
cy's on duff was very disappointing for me. a lot to chose from, mostly crap. i'd rather have quality over quantity.
siglar has a smaller selection, but it is almost all quality gear. ya a lot of hawk stuff too, but whatever.
memorial bookstore is another good one.

If you are in the metro at all, Scheels has a ton of stuff, and the people that work there are pretty nice and helpful... (Waiting on someone to complain the Iowa section is bigger)

Please explain! Crap? I saw Nike Dri Fit and many other of the same brands found elsewhere and it had everything I have seen other places. Do you work for a competitor in town?

went to siglar and dropped about $300 on gear. had more of the nicer "tailgate" stuff, and more embroidered as well i thought. also had stuff that isn't at many other places, which is maybe why i liked it better. i can find a red iron on I-state shirt anywhere-why go to cy's on duff for one?

Re: Cyclone apparrel in ames
Cy's locker-room was full of awesome stuff Saturday and definitely wasn't crap. I got one of the therma fit long sleeve shirts Coach Rhoads wore the past few games.

I'm a big Nike DriFit fan but Siglers does sell some nice embroidered mens and womens sweatshirts that I've bought.
