    UNI football player stabbed.

    UNI STABBING: A University of Northern Iowa football player was stabbed just hours after the game on Saturday

    A Northern Iowa football player was stabbed in a street fight in Cedar Falls early Sunday morning. It happened just around 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning on West 20th Street. Police say a large fight broke out and Varmah Sonie was stabbed.
    Twenty-one-year-old Sonie arrived at the hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound and is being treated. UNI Football coach Mark Farlay says Sonie is expected to be released later on Sunday.

    sad story...not surprised something like that would happen though...at night there in CF it's pretty crazy...and not in the party type of way...

    Stayed at the dome for football when I was out and a similar story happened while we were there..

    not a huge fan of the night life in cedarfall. its like they have no idea what to do when they get drunk... it could easilly happen in ames though
