What kind of deals are you guys seeing this year? I'm looking for a good deal on a 32" - 40" HDTV for my dorm room and apartment next year.

Re: ***Black Friday Deals***
Wouldn't mind snagging one the 40" tvs but there is no way im getting in line and fighting that stupid crowd. Maybe I can head over at some point during the day to try and get a good deal but I really don't like shopping when its busy. So I may be screwed.

Unless you're in line early, you won't be getting one of those 40 inch TVs. There will still be deals up to Christmas though. Just not steals like that deal is. I'm considering doing that Sony 3d tv deal.
I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU
Or so I have read. -

Would mainly just go to see what scraps were left from the wolves that were there earlier. Wouldn't mind picking up a blu ray player either.

Items like that are pretty easy to get after the morning rush.

Black Friday deals are overrated. I say that as a retail employee.

But my impression has always been that Black Friday is mostly inferior products sold as loss leaders to get you into the store to buy better products with higher markups. We'll see if my impression is confirmed.

Last year Walmart had a deal on laptops. sale was at 5am got there at midnight and barely made the line to get one. Now the sales begin at midnight so when would people need to get in line for 40" tv this year, 8pm Thurs. night?

Yep, skip family time and Thanksgiving dinner. I hope it's a huge marketing fail on their part. It won't be but I wish it would.

I'm looking for some cheap, high quality jerseys. Anyone know where I can get some?

Re: ***Black Friday Deals***
My wife and I have done Black Friday at Walmart almost every year to get TVs, laptops, iTouch, etc. Nothing comes close to these prices, come on, a 65 inch LCD Toshiba for under $1000.
Walmarts BF is usually the same as stock items they will carry at regular prices, it just comes in plain white/black boxes. For example, WalMart will carry the above Toshiba for $1599
Bought my mom a laptop last year for $249.
Great time to get stocking stuffers.
Here is out strategy, find the slower Walmarts- usually the more rural areas.
We take camping chairs, food, and entertainment supplies. We map it out, we usually have someones teenager go with us, and they "float" to relieve for bathroom break. And Walmart lets everyone wait in lines inside, it's not chaos, until the bell strikes the hour. But if you in line, you get your item, and can be on your way, or fight the crowd for other deals. Usually, they have great deals on movies and little electronic stuff that is good stocking stuffers at that time.
