Best Thrift Store/Garage Sale Find?
I have been watching too many A&E reality TV shows.
Mine is probably a classic rock vinyl collection that had a bunch of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Rolling Stones. 3 for a dollar. Bought 30 albums from that place.
Also got a Korg Poly-800 for nothing.

I found and old Grain Belt beer light/am radio that still works. $5. It is hanging on my wall in the basement.

Re: Best Thrift Store/Garage Sale Find?
A couple months back i was at a in-house garage sale. As I was leaving, I noticed a brand new, leather, NFL game ball on their check out table. I asked if it was for sale and they said, "yeah, $10." I knew this was a STEAL and was planning on taking it home to sell on ebay. When I picked it up it was signed. I asked the women about it and she wasn't sure who signed it, but remembered it was at a mall in Denver. She said she had a photo with the person, but couldn't find it (but would get it to me when she found it).
I got home and assumed it was a Bronco. The first initial was a "J" but the last wasn't an "E." I searched a bunch of old rosters and nothing seemed to make sense. I almost thought, "oh hell, just clean it off and sell it as a ball." I did more research and found out the signature was the one and only Joe Montana. :) So, now it's a great piece to have in my collection with a fun story to tell.

Went to a garage sale and found a 7 hp 2 stage snowblower that didn't run for $10. Brought it home, took apart the carburator, cleaned it up and put it back together. Still moving snow 3 yrs later.

Not a garage sale find, but an awesome E-bay find. A few years ago I was looking at ISU items and noticed a signed football. The more I looked at the ball, the more surprised I was when I realized that it wasnt a signed ISU ball but the ball from my senior homecoming that the team signed for our sick coach. I emailed the seller and busted him on the fact it wasnt ISU related at all...he ended up sending me the ball for free.
