anyone in the Cedar Rapids area find Templeton?

My brother in law was looking for some as a retirement gift for someone in the military.

When I was back home this summer I looked everywhere for it (in north-central Iowa). The last place I expected to find it was Target. Little bit more expensive at 45 bucks, but they had 5 or 6 bottles. Also, if Cedar Rapids has a HyVee Drugstore with a liquor store in it, they often have it.

Have you checked the local gas stations? I have seen them well stocked with TR since they got liqour sale approved. Prices have been surprisingly reasonable, around 36.

I've been seeing it at Target in Waterloo pretty regularly but like the man said it's about $10 more than anywhere else.

1st friday of the month, hyvee gets deliveries. i used yo hit the store on wilson ave at 7 and he pulled it out of the pallet

also they increased the batch and i think it goes up another 2k or more again this year

The new gas station down by Kirkwood has a good stock. Target up on Blair's Ferry also usually has it. Liquor stores are the last place I go for Templeton.

Just yesterday I saw six or eight bottles at the customer service desk at the HyVee on Oakland Road. Since nobody can hardly get in there with the store construction maybe they'll last longer.

I was told the little mom and pop gas staion (ran by the middle eastern guys) over on Robins Rd and Boysen Rd, just south of the Hawkeye convience mart had a couple cases of it.

My son and daughter in law went and helped bottle and box it last week, so should be showing up in stores soon if not already.

This doesn't help you out any but yesterday I was at Fareway in Eldora and they had probably 15-20 bottles at $33.60 a bottle. If I didn't already have a couple bottles I would have bought some.

So what's usually the cheapest place to buy Templeton in Iowa? Is there any place better than the $33.60 at Fareway? I was hoping to stock up for cheaper than what I pay in Illinois ($40/bottle) before leaving Iowa on Friday since I'm moving away from the Midwest next month.
