They've done surveys in the Register in the past on this. First off, there is no "no way...such and such team has more fans, etc...." on any of these teams. The fan totals are pretty close. If memory serves, it is something like.

1) Vikings, Packers (tie)
3) Bears
4) Chiefs.

That said, rankings don't really matter, because they are pretty evenly split.

Here is a NFL Fan Map that was last updated on Oct 4 2010 and it shows that Bears and Vikings are pretty even and Detroit,Chiefs,and Packers are not even close. Obviously this is not 100% accurate but it is as close to it as you can get.

That map seems to show the Packers, Steelers and Cowboys have the most randomly scattered bandwagon fans and Tampa Bay has the smallest footprint I see.
